ESTIMATION OF SERUM BIOCHEMISTRY REFERENCE VALUES FOR SWISS ALBINO MICE BRED IN VRI

In an attempt to standardise the determination of biological reference values, the International Federation of Clinical Chemistry (IFCC) has published a series of recommendations on developing reference interval. Serum biochemistry reference values were determined for 30 clinically healthy Swiss albino mice eight weeks age. All thirty mice were bred in the Animal

House Veterinary Research Institute. The samples were collected between January to February 2010. The influences of sex, age and environment were removed since they are from the same batch.
