In 2012, eleven swiftlet houses under eKasih Programme in Johor, Perlis and Pahang were chosen randomly to be visited. The objectives of this study are to observe the current condition of the swiftlet house and to determine the number of bird nests produced a year after construction. The data of temperature, relative humidity, and light intensity inside the swiftlet house were recorded and analysed. The results show that eKasih swiftlet houses have more disadvantages in terms of size and materials that do not support requirements needed in a swiftlet house to attract the bird. Although, some eKasih swiftlet house has produced bird nests, but the quality of the nests are very poor.
