This paper presents preliminary findings on the effectiveness of the\r\nresource pack in enhancing children\u2019s knowledge and awareness of animal welfare\r\nand examines teacher perceptions of its usability. A total of 70 preschool teachers from\r\nPerlis, Negeri Sembilan, and Johor completed a questionnaire consisting of Likertscale and open-ended items. Descriptive statistics summarised responses, while\r\nKruskal\u2013Wallis and Mann\u2013Whitney U tests compared responses across states and\r\nbetween urban and rural preschools. Spearman\u2019s correlation examined associations\r\nbetween teacher perceptions and observed child outcomes, and thematic analysis of\r\nopen-ended responses identified implementation challenges. Results indicated that\r\nteachers rated the resource pack positively (mean = 4.0\u20134.3), and children were\r\nobserved to demonstrate improved recall, awareness, and empathy toward animals.\r\nNo significant differences were found across states or school settings (p > 0.05), while\r\nstrong positive correlations were observed between teacher perceptions and child\r\noutcomes (\u03c1 = 0.53\u20130.67, p < 0.001). Reported challenges included limited teaching\r\ntime, insufficient supplementary materials, and variability in teacher confidence.
